What Is the Chief Minister’s Agriculture Mechanisation Programme?
The programme was introduced by renaming the earlier Farm Mechanisation Programme, which was implemented jointly by the Central and State Governments. The State Government increased its share of subsidy assistance for farm machinery under the programme.

Under the programme, CHCs have to maintain hiring records, be geo-tagged and registered on the relevant Government of India portal. The beneficiary contribution specified for a CHC is ₹6 lakh.
